Waddle joins Courtland Sutton as an elite 1-2 punch at wideout. Miami had considered trading Waddle at the 2025 trade deadline, including conversations with Denver and Buffalo. Waddle has reached higher peaks than Sutton, with his career-high of over 1,300 receiving yards in 2022, so his big-play ability may make him the slight favorite to lead the Broncos' offense next season. However, Sutton, who posted his second-straight 1,000-yard season in 2025, also has plenty of chemistry in-place with Nix.
