Since you just defeated a Headrotten Boss, the shrine can create anywhere from one to seven additional copies of that same boss.

Each copy drops loot.

Each copy drops rewards.

And most importantly, each copy drops a guaranteed Whisper Cache.

Instead of farming a single boss, you're suddenly farming multiple bosses from a single encounter.

The amount of experience generated skyrockets.

Whisper Caches Become Mountains of Free XP

The real reason this strategy is so powerful isn't the bosses themselves.

It's the Whisper Caches.

Every cache benefits from Wisdom of Whisperers, causing them to contain additional experience orbs. As dozens of caches begin piling up during each run, you'll quickly find yourself collecting huge amounts of D4 Gold bonus XP.
